BrightBlack Energy is a South African company that designs, builds, finances, operates and manages renewable energy solutions to commercial clients.
Established in 2003 our initial entry point into the market was by optimising energy efficiency in commercial properties. A great deal of value was delivered to our clients who continue to save millions of Rands and over 5 million square meters of office space has been made efficient.
In 2013 we entered the Solar PV space and have an installed base approaching 10MW of rooftop PV including 2.5MW of financed solutions.
BrightBlack is also a co-owner of 28.75MW currently under development as part of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement (REIPPP) Programme.
BrightBlack is a Level II B-BBEE contributor with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
